At Pathways, it is important to us to provide culturally competent mental healthcare for our LGBTQIA+ community.
Adults who identify as lesbian, gay, or bisexual are more than twice as likely as heterosexual adults to encounter mental health challenges (SAMHSA 2016); transgender adults are nearly four times as likely as their cisgender counterparts to experience problems with mental health (Transgender Health 2019).
